The boring, important part

Shipping & Returns

LAST UPDATED 29 AUGUST 2026

BEFORE LAUNCH — replace every [SQUARE BRACKET] on this page with your real details: trading name, company or sole-trader registration, registered address and VAT number. EU consumer law requires a customer to be able to identify and reach the trader. Have someone qualified read these three pages before you take the first payment.

The short version. Free shipping across the EU and UK, duties prepaid. Pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch. Once it arrives you have 60 days to send it back for a full refund, used or not.

Where we ship

All EU member states and the United Kingdom. Shipping is included in the price shown, and import duties are prepaid — the price at checkout is the price you pay, with nothing owed on delivery.

We do not currently ship outside the EU and UK. If you are elsewhere and want one, email hello@matchaforge.com and we will tell you honestly whether we can.

When pre-orders ship

The launch run ships from the date shown at checkout. Pre-order holders are charged when the order is placed and are first in the dispatch queue, in the order the orders came in.

This is a first production run and dates in hardware move. Our commitment:

The 60-day return

Once your machine arrives you have 60 days to decide. If it is not better than how you were making matcha before, email us and send it back for a full refund of everything you paid — including the shipping you did not separately pay. Used is fine; we would rather you actually tried it.

This sits on top of, and is more generous than, your statutory EU right of withdrawal (14 days from delivery, no reason required). Nothing here removes that right.

Sending one back

If it arrives damaged

Photograph it before you do anything else and email us within a few days of delivery. Transit damage is our problem, not yours, and we would rather replace it quickly than argue about it.

Warranty

[WARRANTY PERIOD — e.g. two years] against manufacturing defects, alongside your statutory rights under EU and UK consumer law, which we do not limit. Fair wear on the silicone sleeve and the whisk head is not a defect; a motor or battery that fails is.
