What we do with your data

Privacy

LAST UPDATED 29 AUGUST 2026

BEFORE LAUNCH — replace every [SQUARE BRACKET] on this page with your real details: trading name, company or sole-trader registration, registered address and VAT number. EU consumer law requires a customer to be able to identify and reach the trader. Have someone qualified read these three pages before you take the first payment.

The short version. We collect your email if you ask for launch news, and your order and delivery details if you buy something. We do not sell your data to anyone. You can be removed from the list with one click, or have everything deleted by emailing us.

Who is responsible

The data controller is [TRADING NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Questions, requests and complaints: hello@matchaforge.com.

What we collect, and why

Who else touches it

Only the suppliers needed to actually run this: our payment provider, our email delivery provider, our shipping carrier, and our website host. Each gets the minimum they need to do their job. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not send it anywhere it is not needed.

[LIST YOUR ACTUAL PROVIDERS HERE once payments, email and hosting are chosen — GDPR expects visitors to be able to see who processes their data.]

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable form, or object to a particular use. Email hello@matchaforge.com and we will act within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

Cookies

The site itself needs no cookies to show you this page. Any analytics or advertising cookies are set only where you have agreed to them, and you can change your mind at any time.

[UPDATE THIS SECTION when the GA4 / Meta / TikTok pixels go live, and add a consent banner before any advertising pixel fires in the EU or UK.]

Children

This is a kitchen appliance sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and we will say so in an email to the list rather than hoping nobody notices.
